Dispatcher/Scheduler - ElderONE Location

JOB TYPE: Full Time

SUMMARY:

This is a non-supervisory administrative support position responsible for the development of efficient and timely routes for Medical Motor Service's satellite office. Continuously monitors vehicle and driver utilization to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and effective use of resources.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

  • Assign new passengers to existing routes and modify routes to accommodate increased or decreased demand through specific computer software
  • Review all driver routes to ensure that vehicles are efficiently used in terms of capacity
  • Assign appropriate driver to a schedule based on specific license class and specifications of the trip
  • Review and recommend assignment of drivers to maximize timeliness, while meeting all safety guidelines or requirements
  • Create daily work schedules for drivers
  • Communicate trip concerns to appropriate MMS team members
  • Ensure efficient and timely completion of trip assignments, assigning drivers as operational needs required and updating information
  • Monitoring driver activity for cancellations and availability for trips
  • Handle driver requests for emergency assistance
  • Filling in as backup for Dispatch

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Education: High School Diploma required/Associated Degree or higher preferred.
  2. Experience: One-year transportation scheduling required. Experience with transportation strongly required.

SKILLS: 

  • Ability to interact with co-workers, and clients in an appropriate and courteous manner
  • Able to communicate concisely and make sound decisions
  • Ability to read maps and determine the best route to a destination
  • Data entry and typing skills
  • Attention to details and professionalism

Call Center/Foster Care Supervisor

SUMMARY:

Under the general direction of the Director of Operations, the Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Call Center and Foster Care Operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the call center and foster care, including supervision of staff and drivers.
    Act as point of contact with passengers, customers, and other providers on quality assurance issues.
  • Responsible for contract compliance issues.
  • Responsible for selection, development and performance evaluation of designated staff and drivers.
  • Work with Social Workers on any transportation issues of child clients and arranging visitation times.
  • Ensure that all reports are completed in a timely manner.
  • Participate in development of call center and foster care short and long-term goals.
  • Document, research, and follow-up on incidents and customer complaints.
  • Cost and reconcile weekly reports.
  • Manage the booking of all foster care trip requests
  • Daily interface with Department of Social Services and Child Protective Services. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: High School Diploma. Associates degree or higher preferred; a degree in Social Work a plus.
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience or several years of career progression strongly preferred
  • 2 years program/account management experience preferred
  • Familiarity with child services or agencies and/or transportation a plus

SKILLS:

  • Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and accomplish objectives within strict time constraints.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Demonstrated management and organizational skills
  • Strong follow through and the ability to communicate with a diverse workforce and client base.
  • Ensure concerns of customers and clients are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Ability to analyze data and make service changes based on outcomes.
  • Extremely detailed orientated and strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Word and Excel

Driver - Part Time

(We are specifically looking for drivers that can work Saturdays)
